EDDIE'S MEN'S WEAR sells skillfully made, perfectly tailored, sensibly priced stuff. Brand loyalty is their thing and buy-it-for-life is a cornerstone of their brand.
I did a full, corporate rebrand for them way back when, in the last days of the 20th Century. They were a mom and pop menswear store and I designed for them: logo, stationary, postcards, billboards, everything. There was radio and TV and all you could ever need.
The company thrived. I wrote and designed them a website. The world turned and I wrote and designed them another website, more deluxe, with a content management system.
I wrote and designed stuff, off and on, for going on twenty years. Mostly it was direct mail. Postcards, targeted email and website updates went out three to five times a year, rain or shine. Winter and summer were clearance sales. Spring and fall were sales events. The last day of November was an awareness refresher to encourage Christmas shopping.
